The Women's Missionary Society
The Women's Missionary Society (WMS) is a community of Christians whose purpose, in response to the love of God in Jesus Christ, is to encourage one another and all the people of the church to be involved in local and world mission through prayer, study, service and fellowship.
At our meetings we learn about our missionaries, engage in worship together and enjoy hearing speakers on various topics. Some of our other activities include the annual Bake Shoppe at the Artisan Show, knitting pneumonia vests for babies in Malawi and India, providing poinsettia plants for shut-ins at Christmas, collecting and processing used postage stamps for the Leprosy Mission, and donating monies to various charitable organizations. Last, but by no means least, fellowship and friendships are enjoyed by all.
